Zota Beach Resort seeks a Host/Hostess to be the first and last impression for guests dining at our upscale beachfront restaurant. You will warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, seat guests smoothly, and guide guest flow to uphold luxury service standards.

Ideal candidates are polished, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality, and able to thrive in a fast-paced resort setting while maintaining a guest-focused atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system.

• Manage waiting list during high volume and quote wait times.
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors about availability.
• Adhere to company policies and wear proper uniform.

We are looking to add Hosts/Hostesses to our team.

The Host/Hostess serves as the first and last impression for guests dining at our upscale beachfront resort restaurant. This position is responsible for providing a warm, welcoming, and memorable arrival experience while managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate possesses a polished professional appearance, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Working closely with restaurant leadership and service staff, the Host/Hostess ensures efficient seating operations, accommodates guest requests whenever possible, and maintains a positive, guest-focused environment that reflects the luxury standards of the resort. This role requires the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced setting, anticipate guest needs, and deliver personalized service that enhances the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests
• Manage inventory of tables available
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience a plus
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages
