Job summary

Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota is seeking a friendly Host to join the Food and Beverage team. This hourly role offers $16–$17 per hour and a chance to start memorable dining experiences for guests.

As part of our premier beachfront resort, you will contribute to exceptional guest service, help manage reservations and seating, and uphold our standards. We offer comprehensive benefits and a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Take reservations using the restaurant reservation system.
• Seat guests and manage waiting list during high volume.
• Communicate with wait staff regarding table availability.
• Always sincerely thank guests and invite them to return.
• Adhere to company policies and wear the provided uniform.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests
• Manage inventory of tables available
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy
