Job summary

Treasure Island Beach Resort is seeking a welcoming Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly in the resort's dining venues.

You will coordinate with wait staff to ensure smooth dining room flow, handle waiting lists during peak times, and contribute to a high-quality guest experience. Equal opportunity employer; benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system.
• Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion.
• Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests.
• Manage inventory of tables available.
• Always sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables.
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook.
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy.
