Job summary

Cirque St. Armands Beachside in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Host/Hostess to join our team. This role offers the chance to be part of an organization that values team members as its most important resource and prides itself on delivering guest experiences.

You will greet guests, take reservations, seat guests, manage the waiting list, and coordinate with staff while maintaining a warm, professional manner. Previous service experience is a plus; HS diploma acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests
• Manage inventory of tables available
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy
