Job summary

Lido Beach Resort is seeking a Food Runner to support our dining team in Sarasota, FL. This entry-level role focuses on delivering meals promptly, assisting with expo tasks, and maintaining the dining area in excellent condition.

Ideal candidates have a friendly demeanor, strong phone communication, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position offers benefits and opportunities within the resort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous experience a plus.
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages.

Responsibilities

• Run food to appropriate table and seat numbers.
• Assist expo in preparing and garnishing food to be ran.
• Opening side work to prepare for the shift to include prepping expo items.
• Closing side work to clean the expo station.
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments.
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook.
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy.
