Job summary

The Roof Restaurant, located inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City, is seeking Hosts to join our upscale dining team. This part-time role offers 10-20 hours per week across 2-3 shifts, with pay between $17 and $18 per hour based on experience.

You will warmly greet guests, manage reservations, escort guests to tables, and help ensure a seamless dining experience while upholding our high service standards.

Located inside the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square, The Roof Restaurant offers unforgettable dining and event experiences in one of the most beautiful venues in Utah.

We’re looking for Hosts who are passionate professionals and take pride in their craft, contributing to a team known for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Job Environment/Other Job Requirements

• May be required to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays, to accommodate business needs
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check, as well as abide by all company policies
• Takes on additional duties as required or assigned by management

Compensation

• $17.00 - $18.00/hour This range is inclusive of multiple job levels. Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to evaluation of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with market data.
