Job summary

The Roof Restaurant, located inside the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City, is seeking Hosts to join our upscale dining team. This part-time role offers 10-20 hours per week across 2-3 shifts, with pay between $17 and $18 per hour based on experience.

You will warmly greet guests, manage reservations, escort guests to tables, and help ensure a seamless dining experience while upholding our high service standards.

• Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the seating system.
• Escort guests to tables and communicate seating details to staff.
• Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating for efficiency.
• Maintain host stand and entry area cleanliness and organization.
• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests.
• Contribute to teamwork and hospitality excellence.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
