Waterworks Aquatics in Pasadena, CA is seeking a friendly Host to be the first point of contact for families. You will create a welcoming lobby experience, help guests navigate visits, and support a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with a focus on safety and service.

This role offers paid training, flexible hours with weekend shifts required, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team. No prior experience is required and CPR/First Aid certification can be obtained after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible hours.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet families warmly and create a positive first impression.
• Answer questions about facility layout, lesson logistics, programs, and amenities.
• Direct families to lessons or the front desk for account-related assistance.
• Help manage lobby flow and expedite lines during peak times.
• Assist with retail and snack shop purchases using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, dry, and safe lobby, restroom, and changing areas.
• Conduct facility tours and support special events or birthday parties as needed.
• Proactively assist families and team members to keep operations running smoothly.
