Job summary

Delta by Marriott, Downtown Muskegon hosts guests in a Front of House setting, greeting diners and managing seating with rotation for servers. You will answer questions, take reservations, and assist with takeout orders as needed.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods and to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays in an on-site hotel restaurant environment.

• Clean work areas, sinks, counters, display, buffet, tables, chairs and other equipment
• Stock server stations with supplies
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash

Summary

A Host greets guests, takes reservations, manages waiting lists, escorts guests to tables and presents menus. They also handle phone calls and questions about the restaurant and menu as well as taking to go orders and assisting with bussing or serving duties as needed.
