Job summary

VIG Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI seeks a friendly Guest Services Associate to greet guests, answer phones, manage reservations and messages, and assist with coat check when needed.

You will follow safety and sanitation guidelines, stay composed in a busy environment, and work as part of a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and adapt to varied hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Provide genuine hospitality to all guests and provide them with an experience that exceeds their expectations
• Be proficient in the use of the reservation application system and headset radio
• Communicate clearly and hospitably with guests and teammates
• Be able to multitask while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
• Be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of your shift

Provide a warm and genuine greeting to each guest upon entry and exit of the building, answer telephones, take reservations and messages, follow lost and found procedures, maintain accurate guest counts and wait times and perform coat check duties when applicable.

Requirements

• Have availability to work a variety of hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Follow all systems, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Provide genuine hospitality to all guests and provide them with an experience that exceeds their expectations
• Successfully complete alcohol awareness training and/or food handler training course(s)
• Be committed to teamwork and have a pleasant attitude
• Assist with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Be proficient in the use of the reservation application system and headset radio
• Provide proper telephone etiquette
• Accomplish other duties as instructed by management when applicable
