Job summary

The Shack Breakfast and Lunch in Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a friendly host/hostess to greet guests at the door, seat and present menus, and quote wait times to ensure a smooth dining experience.

You will manage the waiting list, keep the floor plan updated, answer phone inquiries, and assist with guest questions about the menu while maintaining clean, welcoming spaces.

• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.

• Runs the floor plan board.
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available.
• Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area.
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant.
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
• Maintains restrooms throughout shift.
• Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently.

You are the first person the guest sees. We are looking for an energetic and personable individual to fill this position. This individual is responsible for greeting guests at the door.
