Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel seeks a Training Manager to design, coordinate, and deliver company‑wide learning experiences across hourly, salary, and executive teams. You will partner with HR, Operations and Talent Acquisition to ensure readiness, compliance, and service excellence.

You will build training calendars, launch new initiatives, and revise programs to reflect changing needs while maintaining accurate records and leveraging LMS tools.

Qualifications

• Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience designing, developing, and implementing training programs with the casino, service or hospitality industry.
• A four (4)-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• ATD Certification preferred.
• LMS administration experience required.
• Group presentation and/or facilitation experience required.
• Must be able to acquire and maintain the appropriate gaming license for position as determined by the State Lottery and Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, high‑impact training sessions for hourly and salaried team members, including New Hire Orientation, New Leader Orientation, guest service programs, leadership classes, and department‑specific training.
• Build and maintain training calendars based on identified needs, operational priorities, and compliance requirements.
• Launch new training initiatives and ensure consistent execution across departments.
• Revise and update existing training programs to reflect changes in business needs, service standards, or regulatory requirements.
• Apply effective instructional techniques including group facilitation, demonstrations, on‑the‑job training, workshops, and blended learning.
• Work with Operational Leaders and HRBPs to identify training gaps and deliver materials that support performance expectations.
• Source, evaluate, and coordinate external training programs to supplement instructor‑led offerings.
• Maintain training manuals, reference libraries, testing tools, visual aids, and other learning resources.
• Train supervisors and designated instructors on effective facilitation techniques.
• Manage completion of required programs including Title 31, ServeSafe, and Responsible Gaming.
• Track attendance, maintain accurate training records, and compile reports for HR and Operations.
• Partner with Risk Management to support safety training and participate on the Safety Committee.
• Oversee weekly Orientation, Mentor Training, and leadership/management training schedules.
• Administer the Learning Management System, assign courses, track completions, and support users.
• Assist HR Leaders with performance review training, Employee Opinion Survey communication, and 360‑assessment logistics.
• Other duties as assigned.
