Job summary

CAVA in Culver City seeks Team Leaders to bring our mission and values to life for guests and team members. TLs support performance with assistants and managers by leading daily operations, promoting a positive work environment, and delivering on commitments to guests.

They delegate routines, ensure standards, and support training and development of Team Members, including opening/closing, inventory, and cash handling while upholding food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Hospitality-focused team collaboration and guest service.
• Coaching, developing, and cross-training Team Members.
• Experience with opening/closing, food orders, inventory, and cash handling.
• Adherence to food safety standards and cleanliness.
• Decision-making under pressure and issue resolution.
• Shift deployment to maximize service levels.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Managers and Team Members to bring the spirit of hospitality to our guests and create quality food.
• Coach, develop, and support cross training of Team Members as our business grows.
• Support the restaurant experience with opening/closing, food orders, inventory, and cash handling as needed.
• Support food safety initiatives and ensure proper practices and cleanliness standards.
• Model sound decision making and help resolve issues that may arise.
• Support deployment practices on your scheduled shift to ensure heightened levels of service interactions with guests, as well as prompt presentation of food orders.
