The Woodhouse Day Spa - Charlotte is seeking an Hospitality Specialist to create an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. You will handle phones, scheduling, tours, amenities, and checkout, ensuring every guest leaves relaxed and eager to return.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with robes and beverages, guiding spa tours, and driving retail/service recommendations while maintaining Woodhouse standards. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, spa, hotel, restaurant, country club, retail, or customer service preferred.
• Warm, professional, and approachable with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication, phone, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to anticipate guest needs and support selling services and products.
• Comfortable using scheduling, POS, and other computer systems.
• Dependable, flexible, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and assist throughout their spa experience.

• Provide spa tours and introduce Woodhouse amenities and relaxation areas.
• Assist guests with robes, slippers, beverages, and other amenities.
• Complete checkout, process payments and gift cards.
• Recommend retail products, services, enhancements, and memberships based on guest needs.
• Maintain front desk, retail, and guest-facing areas to Woodhouse standards.
• Replenish guest amenities and assist with laundry, linens, and light cleaning.
• Support opening/closing procedures, events, and daily spa operations.
• Collaborate with service providers and spa leadership to deliver a seamless Woodhouse experience.

Position Summary

The Hospitality Specialist plays an essential role in creating an exceptional guest experience from the moment a guest walks through our doors until the moment they check out. As a key member of our front-of-house team, Hospitality Specialists ensure every interaction is warm, welcoming, attentive, and reflective of the elevated service standards that define Woodhouse Spa.

This role supports the entire guest journey—from answering phones, scheduling appointments, welcoming guests, and providing spa tours to assisting with robes, slippers, beverages, and refreshments. At checkout, Hospitality Specialists complete the experience by recommending retail products and services, rebooking future appointments, and ensuring every guest leaves feeling relaxed, cared for, and excited to return.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome, check in, and assist guests throughout their entire spa experience.
• Answer phones, respond to guest questions, recommend services, and schedule appointments accurately.
• Provide spa tours and introduce guests to Woodhouse amenities, relaxation areas, and the overall spa experience.
• Assist guests with robes, slippers, beverages, refreshments, and other amenities.
• Complete the checkout process, including processing payments and gift cards.
• Recommend retail products, services, enhancements, and memberships based on individual guest needs.
• Maintain front desk, retail, relaxation, locker room, and other guest-facing areas to Woodhouse standards.
• Replenish guest amenities and assist with laundry, linens, light cleaning, and general spa upkeep as needed.
• Support opening and closing procedures, special events, group bookings, and daily spa operations.
• Work collaboratively with service providers and spa leadership to deliver a seamless Woodhouse experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, spa, hotel, restaurant, country club, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Warm, professional, and approachable with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication, phone, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate guest needs and take initiative.Comfortable recommending and selling spa services, memberships, enhancements, and retail products.
