Job summary

Shake Shack is hiring in New York for a leadership role guiding a team of hourly Team Members to deliver safe, clean, high-quality service. You will influence daily operations and champion guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has restaurant leadership experience, strong communication, and problem solving skills, and will participate in interviews and employee relations activities within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
