Job summary

Shake Shack is seeking a restaurant leader to supervise and guide a team on-shift, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed of service. The role involves building a high-performing team of hourly Team Members and supporting operations such as purchasing and inventory, as well as participating in interviews and employee relations.

With a strong focus on hospitality and guest experience, the position offers mentoring, training and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
