Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to assist the Assistant Manager and General Manager in executing the restaurant’s business plan. You will ensure team members perform their duties, uphold service standards, and support daily operations to deliver exceptional hospitality to guests.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage staff and costs while maintaining a positive, guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including opening and closing shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation and method of communication with restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Take necessary action to ensure all hospitality service is outstanding; anticipates and exceeds guest needs; handles situation and requests immediately in a positive manner.
• Paths the restaurant to monitor all aspects of operation; takes initiative to correct problem areas immediately.
• Enforces and maintains all quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitors staffing levels and labor costs.
• Creates a friendly atmosphere for Team Members and Guests.
• Train and supervise Team Members.
• Support efforts to maximize sales and profits and minimize controllable costs.
• Plan, organize, and implement all operational routines during your shift.
• Maintain cooperative, harmonious working relationships with management and fellow team members.
• Ensure sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures are observed and enforced.
• Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and displays professionalism.
• Recognize and adhere to HR policies and procedures to provide a safe environment.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.
