Job summary

HomeState-Hospitalities in Southern California is seeking a Lead on Duty to supervise service shifts, train team members, and uphold guest‑focused hospitality standards. You will monitor attendance, assist with ordering, and ensure safety and cleanliness across storefront, service, bathroom, and kitchen areas.

Requirements include 1–2 years in restaurant roles, a personable attitude, and availability for five days per week.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in the restaurant industry with guest facing roles preferred.
• Personable and enjoys working with people and a diverse team.
• Passion for food & hospitality.
• Availability to work a minimum of five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train team in collaboration with management.
• Maintain standards and ensure a safe, healthy working environment.
• Assist ordering and receiving products.
• Open or close shifts, monitor attendance, cash handling, shift reports, waste log, and other duties.
• Not responsible for hiring or terminations.
