Job summary

HomeState in Southern California is seeking a Team Lead to oversee shifts, train staff, and uphold our hospitality standards. You will manage daily operations, coach teammates, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and crew.

As a Lead on Duty, you will coordinate opening/closing tasks, monitor attendance, assist with ordering, and support management in delivering exceptional service. Strong communication and a passion for hospitality are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in the restaurant industry with guest facing roles preferred.
• Personable and enjoys working with people and a diverse team.
• Availability to work a minimum of five days per week; weekends/evening shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train team in collaboration with management.
• Maintain standards and ensure a safe, healthy working environment.
• Open or close shifts, including attendance, cash management, shift reports.
• Assist ordering and receiving products.
• Support non-supervisory tasks as assigned.
