HomeState is a Tex Mex Kitchen in Southern California, serving tacos, queso, brisket, and margaritas, with a strong emphasis on warm hospitality that makes guests feel at home. We value care for both guests and team members, and strive to be exceptional in safety and service.

As a Service Team member, you will welcome guests, guide them through the menu, and work across roles to ensure smooth service. Availability for five days weekly, including weekends or evenings, is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in the restaurant industry with guest-facing roles preferred.
• Personable and enjoys working with people and a diverse team.
• Passion for food & hospitality.
• Availability to work a minimum of five days per week; weekends and varied shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Build guest relationships and deliver hospitality-centric solutions. Welcome guests and execute service roles with care and kindness.
• Be an expert of the menu to guide guest experience, ensure order accuracy and communicate allergies.
• Provide hospitality that is outgoing, motivated and engaged until departure.
• Take on opportunities with urgency and manage time to fulfill duties and tasks.
