Job summary

French Lick Resort is seeking a friendly Server to deliver meals and drinks, reset tables, and maintain a welcoming dining room. You will ensure accuracy and speed of service, and comply with Indiana alcohol regulations while upholding high cleanliness and presentation standards.

The role requires 1 year of restaurant experience, strong communication, and a team-oriented, hospitality-minded attitude. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year restaurant experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Pleasant and positive personality.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Hands-on with a hospitality mindset.
• Teamwork and cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Delivers food and drinks from kitchen to dining tables.
• Cleans and resets tables between guests.
• Obtains employee permit to serve alcohol when required.
• Maintains high standards during setup and service.
• Adheres to Indiana alcohol rules and regulations.
• Works with supervisors to ensure prompt service.
• Delivers hot plates and glassware to tables.
• Stocking and cleaning service areas daily.
• Polishes china, silver, and glassware nightly.
• Cleans and resets tables as directed by management.
• Performs nightly breakdown of side stations.
• Maintains a clean, hotel-standard uniform.
• Gains knowledge about all food served in the restaurant.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.
