Job summary

New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins seeks a hospitality representative to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will guide brewery tours, educate guests on beers and brand culture, and handle point-of-sale operations with a strong emphasis on safety and service.

The role requires at least 6 months in customer service, knowledge of brewing, and ability to work evenings/weekends. Seasonal/part-time options available with comprehensive benefits after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of customer service related work experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills and abilities.
• General knowledge of brewing and the beer industry.
• Knowledge and understanding of local laws/guidelines around identification and service of alcohol (TIPS trained).
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to speak in front of large groups.
• General understanding of New Belgium's branding theories, practices and strategic vision.
• General computer and email skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekends.
• Ability to deal with difficult situations and resolve matters appropriately and effectively.

The role is responsible for providing support of the New Belgium brand experience through both paid and private tours, beer education and knowledge and exceptional customer service and sales.

Essential Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service and education on NBB beers, culture and business practices
• Guides guest on tours around the brewery and providing exceptional experiences
• Conduct retail operations, including merchandise stocking/handling, register/money handling
• Understand and practices New Belgium's safety guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience/Skills:

Variations:

• Hospitality Representative - Part Time (LC REP PT): This is a part-time position that is inclusive of all assigned duties of a Hospitality R epresentative with exception to guiding guests on tours .
• Hospitality Representative - Seasonal (LC SEA ): This is a seasonal position that is inclusive of all assigned duties of a Hospitality Representative with exception to guiding guests on tours.
• Hospitality Representative - Per Diem (LC REP PD ): This is a part-time as-needed position that provides additional support during high volume times. It is inclusive of all assigned duties of a Hospitality Representative with the exception to guiding guests on tours.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 90 lbs. 10 inches and carry up to 40 lbs. 100 feet.
• Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases.
• Must also show fine motor dexterity.
• Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead.
• The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell's and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Hourly Rate: $22.50 per hour
