Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Portsmouth seeks an experienced hospitality leader to oversee guest service operations, including front desk, transportation and breakfast service. You will support the General Manager with administrative reporting, training and overall service of hotel operations.

The role requires at least 2 years in hotel management, with proven staff leadership, scheduling and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
• Brand Certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years hotel experience.
• Minimum 2 years management, including 1 year in hospitality management.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects, on-boards and trains associates.
• Motivates staff through positive reinforcement and leading by example.
• Monitors payroll and prepares weekly schedules within budget.
• Participates in safety initiatives and BEAR activities.
• Ensures brand and hotel standards across departments.
• Coordinates guest arrivals, room readiness and service.
• Leads daily huddles and interdepartmental communications.
