Job summary

Homewood Suites by Hilton Portsmouth seeks an experienced hotel manager to oversee guest service operations, including front desk, concierge, transportation, valet, bell staff, and breakfast service. You will lead by example, train staff, monitor room and shuttle operations, manage schedules, and help prepare the annual budget while ensuring Baywood brand standards and a safe, welcoming environment.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field and at least two years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field required or on-the-job training equivalent.
• Minimum two years hotel management experience.
• Brand standards and guest service excellence experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, selects & train associates.
• Motivates staff through positive reinforcement and leading by example.
• Provides input during annual budget preparation and payroll oversight.
• Ensures policies, procedures, safety and guest service standards are followed.
• Manages shuttle, transportation, and related guest services.
• Oversees staffing, scheduling, and department meetings.
