Job summary

Highgate Hotels L.P. is seeking an Operations Manager for Residence Inn Livonia, MI. This role directs front office operations, supports F&B, Housekeeping, and Engineering, and ensures smooth daily performance with a strong lobby presence.

Responsibilities include supervising hourly staff, handling guest requests and complaints, managing shift coverage, and contributing to nightly audit processes. Validations include ensuring high standards and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Must be able to understand and evaluate information from various sources to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director and Assistant Director of Front Office with managing the Front Office operation.
• Provide strong lobby presence to assist front desk agents and guests.
• Balance the hotel room type inventory.
• Ensure lobby, Mezzanine and F&B areas meet Paramount standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints during shift.
• Perform some Night Audit functions and produce Night Audit reports.
