Job summary

The Village at Orchard Ridge, part of National Lutheran Communities & Services, seeks a Hospitality Manager to lead hospitality operations and elevate resident satisfaction in Winchester, VA. You’ll recruit and coach staff, coordinate events, and collaborate with leaders to ensure seamless service across the community.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in front‑of‑house hospitality management, strong communication, and a passion for person‑centered service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of front‑of‑house management experience in hospitality, senior living, dining services, hotel ops, or related customer service.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate, coach and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on resident satisfaction and relationships.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office applications; catering event coordination is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee hospitality programs, services, and resident engagement initiatives.
• Build relationships with residents, families, guests, and team members.
• Respond to resident inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate special events, celebrations, and community activities.
• Collaborate with department leaders to deliver seamless service and experiences.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop hospitality team members.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements to enhance experiences.
• Support move-ins and orientation activities to welcome new residents.
• Maintain records, reports, and resident feedback data.
• Foster a culture of hospitality, professionalism, and person-centered service excellence.
