Job summary

Tishman Speyer is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to lead hospitality training across the U.S. portfolio, elevating the customer experience and embedding hospitality culture in daily operations.

You will partner with Property Management leadership and HR to design impactful programs, measure outcomes, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires 5+ years in L&D within hospitality, strong communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to travel 30–40% to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, human resources or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of learning and development experience.
• Excellent planning, time management, communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse workforce.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and travel throughout the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and evolution of Hospitality Standards across the portfolio.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing L&D programs for new and existing employees.
• Collaborate with departments to align training with hospitality initiatives.
• Evaluate and enhance the customer experience across properties.
• Develop and deliver service recovery training to strengthen customer relationships.
• Build leadership programs and engagement initiatives with HR and management.
• Track metrics, ROI, and program impact; report findings to leadership.
• Plan schedules, manage training center operations, and coordinate vendors.
