Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel in South Beach is seeking a motivated IT Technician to support daily hotel technology systems, including POS and retail platforms, to ensure seamless operations for guests and Team Members while upholding service standards.

You will maintain Micros systems, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, perform preventive maintenance on IT equipment, provide weekend coverage as part of a seven‑day IT schedule, and collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Retail POS and F&B POS systems (Micros).
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Mac OS.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of POS systems (hardware and software).
• Maintain Micros systems, including database corrections, menu configuration changes and historical data retention.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace non-operational equipment across POS and retail systems.
• Maintain retail systems in partnership with retail management to ensure proper configuration and functionality.
