Job summary

South Beach Group Hotels in Miami Beach is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform routine and preventive maintenance under limited supervision. The role requires strong attention to safety and guest comfort, with a focus on reliability and teamwork.

You will inspect equipment, address maintenance requests, and uphold fire and safety standards while coordinating with hotel teams to ensure high-quality service and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of engineering/maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year in a hotel environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule; weekends and holidays required.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on the building interior or exterior.
• Inspect operating machinery, equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations and applicable laws.
• Respond to guest requests in a courteous, timely manner.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards immediately.
• Assist with maintenance of mechanical systems such as pumps and fans.
• Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor.
