Job summary

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA is seeking an IT Technician to install, configure, operate, and maintain the resort’s hardware, software, and related IT infrastructure. You will ensure PCI/compliance and support hotel systems, networks, and telecom.

The role requires upgrading and troubleshooting IT equipment, identity with corporate policies, and on-call coverage including nights or weekends as needed. Prior hospitality IT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT experience.
• Preferred experience in hospitality IT environments.
• Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, software installations, telephony, and voicemail systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work weekends/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for all hotel computer systems and IT equipment.
• Install hardware/software updates and ensure PCI/compliance with policies.
• Troubleshoot network/system problems and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Assist with company-issued phones and telecom provisioning; handle on-site moves.
• Perform daily system monitoring, backups, and security checks.
