Job summary

Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician to monitor, configure, maintain, install, and remove property technology hardware and software, and provide frontline support for Team Members and other users of property technology.

The role requires troubleshooting, adherence to Gaming, Sarbanes-Oxley, and PCI requirements, and strong communication with users. Candidates should be able to work on-site, handle basic network tasks, and participate in preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in help desk operations and IT support.
• Familiarity with PCI, SOX, and gaming compliance.
• Knowledge of PC, POS, and printer hardware/software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT service and support to all Virgin Hotels Las Vegas team members or users.
• Record all Help Desk interactions according to IT procedures.
• Resolve basic to intermediate technology problems.
• Set up and prepare equipment per IT policies and user needs.
• Perform basic hardware/software troubleshooting and escalate as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tech equipment on a schedule.
• Communicate upgrades and maintenance to users and teams.
• Understand network basics including IDF locations and wireless config.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and software; ensure compliance.
