Job summary

Westin La Paloma Resort in Tucson, on behalf of HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who is passionate about people and hospitality. You will support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.

This role partners with leadership to manage the full associate lifecycle, maintain HRIS records, ensure compliance, and deliver a positive, seamless associate experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience is required.
• Experience processing payroll and timekeeping is preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.]
• Hospitality industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding.
• Coordinate New Hire Orientation and onboarding documentation.
• Support bi-weekly payroll and timecard audits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain confidential personnel files and HRIS records.
• Coordinate HR transactions: hires, transfers, promotions, changes, leaves, separations.
• Serve as a points of contact for associates on payroll, benefits, policies, and HR inquiries.
• Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data to support leadership decisions.
• Assist with HR audits, compliance initiatives, and record retention.
