Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor for Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa in Tucson, AZ. The role leads daily kitchen operations, ensures food quality and presentation, and upholds safety and sanitation standards to deliver an exceptional guest dining experience.

You will train and supervise staff, assist with scheduling and inventory, and step in as lead during absences, contributing to a smooth, high-volume service environment.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or culinary experience required
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of inventory, ordering, and kitchen operations
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure food prepared to standards
• Support food preparation, cooking, and plating during service
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation consistency
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist in training, coaching, and supervising kitchen staff
• Support scheduling, task assignments, and team coordination
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and stock management
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper food storage practices
• Step in as lead in absence of senior kitchen leadership
• Other duties as assigned
