Job summary

AC Hotel San Jose Downtown is seeking a Front Desk Agent to manage smooth check-in/check-out and guest services. You will use the property management system, operate the PBX and paging system, and assist guests with information and reservations.

Candidates should have prior hospitality or customer service experience, cash handling skills, and strong communication abilities. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous experience in cash handling & computerized POS system preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Open availability, including nights/overnights/weekends/holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Handle check-in and checkout following hotel procedures and standards.
• Proficient with the property management system.
• Operate the PBX and paging system per procedures.
• Establish guest credit at check-in; issue room keys and explain services.
