Job summary

Hilton Rosemont is seeking a capable Food & Beverage supervisor to lead service staff, uphold quality standards, and ensure a positive guest experience. The role involves staffing, training, inventory, payroll review, and coordination with kitchen and order takers to maintain smooth operations.

Candidates should have strong communication skills and solid knowledge of hotel F&B operations. Working hours include PM/evening, weekends, and holidays based on hotel needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Ability to supervise subordinate staff, including assignment of duties and evaluating service.
• Ability to prepare and analyze data and transcriptions on computer.
• Knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations and pricing.
• Exceptional food and beverage knowledge and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Daily supervision and direction of Food & Beverage service staff.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Circulate within the outlet to ensure professional and timely meals and coordinate with kitchen/order takers.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling, supervision, and control of cashiers, supervisors, greeters, servers and bus attendants.
• Attend pre-meal meetings and conduct ongoing training to improve performance.
• Assist in reports on production and requisitions; regulate distribution of supplies.
• Responsible for F&B ordering, inventory management, and maintaining product levels.
• Monitor payroll review and timekeeping; monitor labor and expenses.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, storage of F&B products; balance administrative and hands-on duties.
• Availability for PM/evening, weekend, and holiday shifts; other duties as assigned by leadership.
