Job summary

We are Buchanan, a leading Am Law firm, seeks a Hospitality & Events Supervisor in New York to elevate client experiences and oversee reception, catering, and events on-site. You will lead teams, drive service standards, and partner with facilities to streamline operations in a fast-paced law firm environment.

The role emphasizes coaching, vendor management, and delivering a polished, professional experience for clients, visitors, attorneys, and employees in the NYC office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in hospitality or professional services.
• Experience managing reception, catering, events, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop reception and catering teams to deliver elevated service.
• Oversee meetings, conferences, and events from planning to execution.
• Manage vendors, inventory, invoices, and service quality.
• Develop SOPs and processes to improve operations and consistency.
• Collaborate with Facilities and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate event logistics and day-to-day workplace hospitality.
• Deliver a polished client experience for guests and staff.
