Job summary

Buchanan, a prestigious global Am Law firm, seeks a Hospitality & Events Supervisor to elevate the client experience in its New York office. This on-site role oversees reception, catering, events, and conference services, driving service excellence and efficient operations.

Lead and develop teams, manage vendors, and implement SOPs to standardize high-quality service for clients, visitors, attorneys, and staff in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality or service-driven environments.
• Experience in law firm or professional services preferred.
• Strong vendor management and client-focused service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop reception and catering teams, ensuring elevated service standards.
• Oversee in-house meetings, catering, conferences, and firm events from planning to execution.
• Manage catering and hospitality vendors, inventory, invoices, and service quality.
• Develop and implement SOPs, service standards, and process improvements to streamline operations.
• Partner with Facilities, Office Services, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless operations.
• Coordinate event logistics, conference rooms, catering setups, and day-to-day workplace hospitality.
• Drive a polished, professional experience for clients, visitors, attorneys, and employees.
