Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist (APS) for our RISE Dispensaries in Reno. You will be the welcoming face, blending hospitality with safety leadership to create a concierge-style guest experience while protecting people and property.

The role emphasizes de-escalation, guest service, and collaboration with store teams to maintain safety, compliance, and a positive customer journey in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a guest-first approach.
• Meet scheduling and availability requirements including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage check-in with professionalism and efficiency.
• Deter incidents and maintain a sense of calm and order across the store.
• Escort customers and visitors as needed and support guest flow.
• Report and respond to safety, security, or compliance incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with store teams andtrain new APS members to uphold standards.
