Green Thumb Industries (GTI) operates RISE Dispensaries and is hiring an Asset Protection Specialist to welcome guests, ensure safety, and uphold compliance with cannabis regulations.

The APS role blends hospitality, customer service, and safety leadership on the sales floor, requiring a friendly, professional demeanor, strong communication, and the ability to stay alert throughout shifts, including mornings, days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior customer-facing experience preferred.
• Familiar with POS systems and compliance tech.
• Security, military, or law enforcement background is a plus.
• Willing to work varied shifts including weekends.
• Must pass background checks including cannabis employment requirements.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21+ and compliant with cannabis employment rules.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and manage check-in professionally.
• Maintain compliance standards and assist guests.
• Escort customers as needed to support safety and flow.
• Monitor entry, perimeters, and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with store teams and train new APS members.
• Report safety incidents and assist with emergency procedures.
