Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) and RISE Dispensaries are seeking an Asset Protection Specialist to blend hospitality, customer service, and safety leadership on the retail floor.

As the warm, welcoming face of the dispensary, you will greet guests, manage check-ins, monitor safety, de-escalate incidents, and support teammates with professional, compliant service while upholding brand values and policies.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a strong commitment to guest-first, hospitality-focused service.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs.
• Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet all state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and positivity and manage check-in professionally.
• Monitor entry, store areas, and perimeters to ensure safety, comfort, and compliance.
• De-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication.
• Escort customers and support safety, cleanliness, and guest flow across the dispensary floor.
• Report and respond to safety or compliance incidents promptly.
• Assist with emergency procedures and preparedness.
• Maintain a visible, mobile presence throughout shifts and train new APS team members.
