Job summary

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Credit Manager to oversee the hotel accounts receivable operations, ensure accurate invoicing, and maintain healthy aging of receivables.

You will lead a small team, collaborate with Sales, Catering, and other departments, and implement credit policies while training staff.

Prior A/R in hotel accounting, supervisory experience, and familiarity with Opera PMS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ten key calculator, computer and spreadsheet programs.
• Must have 2+ years credit management/accounts receivable in hotel accounting.
• Opera experience is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct billing application processing and evaluate credit worthiness.
• Accurate and timely invoicing for Groups, Social Events, Catering, Wholesale & Membership.
• Collect outstanding debts and conduct monthly aging reviews.
• Handle A/R billing questions/adjustments and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with Sales, Catering, Convention service and other departments to ensure accuracy of bills.
