Job summary

Trailborn Hotels & Resorts in Jackson, Wyoming, is seeking an Accounting Staff member to maintain financial integrity across operations in hospitality.

You will process invoices, manage payables/receivables, reconcile cash, and assist with monthly and year-end close while ensuring compliance with US accounting standards.

A2+ degree, 1–2 years experience, and proficiency with QuickBooks or SAP preferred; US payroll knowledge a plus; high attention to detail and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, M3, SUN, SAP, OneStream, PeopleSoft or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions including invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Reconcile cash and bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.
• Any other requests of management.
