Job summary

Trailborn Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to support daily front office operations, guest arrival and departure experiences, and team leadership at our Jackson, WY property. The role requires strong guest service focus and collaboration across departments to maintain brand standards.

You will act as manager on duty, handle guest concerns, and drive seamless check-in/check-out, VIP service, and room readiness while training and guiding the front desk team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in hotel front office or guest services with supervisory exposure.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service recovery skills.
• Experience with hotel property management systems and front desk procedures.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with cash handling, billing accuracy, and daily reporting.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Effective cross-functional communication with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist overseeing daily front office operations including check-in/check-out and reservations support.
• Serve as manager on duty for assigned shifts and resolve issues promptly.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery with empathy and professionalism.
• Review arrivals, departures, VIPs, and room assignments for personalized service.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure readiness.
• Train, coach, and schedule front office team to maintain standards.
• Communicate occupancy and updates during pre-shift meetings.
• Oversee cash handling, billing procedures, and guest records for accuracy.
