Stonebridge Companies in Aurora, CO seeks an Accounting Clerk for part-time duties coordinating, verifying, and balancing revenues and receipts daily. You will manage accounts receivable and payable, support the General Manager and Finance leadership, and ensure accurate financial reporting at the property level.

The role requires experience in accounting, proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining financial records and processing transactions.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers, management, and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily revenues, receipts, and ledger balances into reports.
• Reconcile daily cash deposits and credit card transmissions.
• Process accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid invoices within 3 days.
• Follow up on unpaid invoices after 30 days.
• Verify purchase orders and enter invoices into AP system weekly with GM approval.
• Reconcile daily taxes and maintain tax-exempt documentation.
• Prepare and submit financial reports as assigned.
• Assist with audits by providing records and documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records per company policy.
