Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a valet and facility support associate to greet patients and visitors, assist with valet needs, and manage parking operations at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. You will handle transactions, maintain revenue equipment, and support daily garage activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of related experience, good math and computer skills, and strong customer service and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year working experience, one year of driving experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math and understand rates.
• Professional demeanor with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Written and verbal communication skills; excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients/visitors; welcome them to GBMC.
• Assist with valet needs and directing vehicles.
• Follow traffic regulations for safe operation of vehicles.
• Explain parking rates and procedures to patients and visitors.
• Daily collection and categorization of parking ticket transactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per standards.
• Report accidents to supervisor on duty.
• Support daily operations of the parking facility.
• Perform cashiering as needed and handle cash.
• Stock and maintain revenue control equipment.
• Prepare daily sales reports.
• Assist customers with automated revenue control equipment.
