Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Unit Service Coordinator to provide a broad range of clerical support in the nursing unit, including reception, data collection, and medical records assembly. You will assist with admissions and discharges while performing routine patient care tasks as needed.

The role requires administrative experience, ability to work variable shifts, and a current BLS certification. Strong English communication and adherence to misconduct disclosure are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior work administrative/clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current BLS certification upon hire (issued by the AHA).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Misconduct Disclosure Requirement: must disclose any misconduct history as described.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform clerical support in the nursing unit.
• Perform reception, collect data, assemble medical records, assist with admission/discharge.
• Perform routine patient care functions as needed.
