Job summary

This position requires prior administrative experience, the ability to work variable shifts including nights and weekends, and a current Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Prior work administrative/clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current BLS certification upon hire (issued by the AHA).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Misconduct Disclosure Requirement: candidate must disclose if involved in any misconduct within seven years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform a broad range of clerical support in the nursing unit, including reception functions and data collection.
• Assemble medical records and assist with patient admission/discharge.
• Assist with routine patient care functions as needed.
