UCI Health is seeking a Unit Service Coordinator to support nursing units with clerical tasks, data collection, and medical record assembly. The role also includes reception duties and assisting with patient admissions and discharges, with occasional patient care tasks as needed.

The position requires medical setting experience, English proficiency, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, along with a current BLS certification upon hire.

Formación

• Prior administrative/clerical experience in a medical setting.
• Ability to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current BLS certification upon hire (AHA).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and perform a broad range of clerical support functions in the nursing unit.
• Perform reception functions, collect and compile patient data, and assemble medical records.
• Assist with patient admission and discharge; perform routine patient care functions as needed.
