Ascension Health in Appleton, WI is seeking a part-time Behavioral Health unit aide to coordinate daily workflows, maintain patient records, and ensure timely execution of orders. You will welcome patients and families, monitor safety, and support clinical staff as part of a collaborative care team.
Minimum requirements include BLS within 30 days of hire and Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry credentials or CNA certification, with the ability to work in a hospital setting.

Schedule: Part-time days 24 hours per week | two 12-hour shifts per week 0645-1915 | every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
Coordinate daily unit workflow and interdisciplinary communications to keep patient care plans moving seamlessly.
Maintain accurate, high-quality patient records and charts to ensure healthcare teams have immediate access to vital information.
Process physician and nursing orders promptly while managing follow-up appointments to prevent delays in treatment.
Serve as the primary welcoming contact for patients, families and healthcare staff to foster a supportive and compassionate care environment.
Monitor unit surveillance cameras and provide direct patient sitting to maintain a safe environment and immediately alert clinical staff of safety concerns.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.
