Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily operations of the department including interviewing and hiring staff, training, and creating work schedules.
• Enforces department standards, policies and procedures, and initiates corrective action as needed.
• Evaluates staff performance to ensure standards are met.
• Resolves problems, provides support, and expedites service to hospital departments.
• Monitors safety and quality assurance by inspecting processes for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintains department records and prepares monthly reports.
• Monitors, orders and maintains stock of department supplies and equipment.
• Participates in hospital committees and meetings as assigned.
• May assist in budget preparation.
• Performs additional duties of the department as assigned.
